You are OK as long as you have a passport. On you. Last time I was in Mexico, I entered by sea, but I’ve been in Canada since then and I not only had to show my passport, there was a pretty serious interrogation.

The guard at the border asked me what I was doing in Canada? Visiting, since I was in the area to attend my wife’s high school reunion in Buffalo. Where are you from? Bristow, Oklahoma. What is that close to? Tulsa. He then asked me some questions only somebody from Northeast Oklahoma would be likely to answer….and, watching his eyes, I could see he was reading the questions off a computer screen. I could tell by his accent, HE was not from Oklahoma.
